About Mahima

As we all know, the modern, globalized world which all of us have been fortunate to inhabit is also home to billions of unfortunate people who suffer from poverty and debilitating diseases. Taking this cue, a group of 16 individuals who were united by a common vision of love and affection towards their fellow beings decided that they should do something about it.

The result was Mahima Charitable Trust(MCT), which was registered as a charitable trust on 19th day of July 2012 under the Societies'Registration Act of 1860. While our aim is to make at least a small difference to the lives of those who suffer, initially we intended to extend a helping hand to the deserving people in and around Bangalore. As we expand, we hope to serve more people who may be located far and wide.
