“The people of the country will not be fooled by the new guarantees of the Congress, which guarantees the development of only one family. Instead, the people will give a huge majority to the Modi government, which is determined to achieve the development of the country,” he said.

Upadhye said that even after being rejected by voters in “every election in the past 10 years”, Congress leaders were seeking votes using fraudulent masks and slogans like “mohabbat ki dukan”.

He also said the Congress’s promises were never fulfilled, adding that its slogan of “garibi hatao” had remained on paper for several decades.

“The Congress guarantee is equivalent to Chinese goods,” he said.

“Prime Minister Modi gave a guarantee of development to the country and it has been fulfilled. Modi has guaranteed the development of the poor, youth, women and the farmers of the country and the BJP is committed to their development,” he added.

Upadhye claimed that 25 crore people were lifted out of poverty during Modi’s tenure and that all of the prime minister’s poll promises such as the abrogation of Article 370, construction of the Ram temple, industrial development, employment generation and women’s empowerment were fulfilled.
