Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh has been winning hearts with his performance in the Indian Premier League 2024. The cricketer tapped into the viral “Hey Prabhu” trend after the team’s phenomenal win against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday.

In a video shared by the official X handle of KKR, an elated Singh can be seen in a “mood”. The video shows him raising his arms and lip-syncing with the ‘Hey Prabhu’ audio, while the score keeps getting updated. Sharing the video, KKR wrote, “.@rinkusingh235 is mood rn.”

The video has garnered over 1,90,000 views on the platform. An X user commented, “KKR is just not a team. It’s an emotion.” Another user wrote, “Rinku sing score 300 strik rate. Perfect death over better in KKR.”

A video recently went viral wherein Rinku Singh and Andre Russell were seen humming to Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu’s song Lutt Putt Gaya from the film Dunki. Sharing the video on X, KKR wrote, “Who did it better- Dre or Rinku?”

The video caught Taapsee Pannu’s attention and she shared it on Instagram. “I think (I) want to judge this tournament in person!” the Bollywood actor wrote.

KKR won against DC by 106 runs at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, recording the second-highest team total in the IPL’s history. Opening the batting, Sunil Narine made 85 runs off 39 deliveries. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings are all set to lock horns at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
