Diljit Dosanjh remembers Kareena Kapoor’s ‘heart touching gesture’ on first day of Udta Punjab shoot, says Kylie Jenner looks like a ‘Punjaban’

“She said something lovely to her on the first day. Her staff was with her, and she said to me that her staff is my fan and if they can click a picture with me. It was a big deal for me. I had never imagined I would even get to meet her ever in my life. Maybe she said this… big artistes at times do things to cool you down when you are working with them for the first time,” he added.

When asked if he ever felt nervous around Kareena, he said, “No, not nervous. I was excited that I was going to work with Kareena Kapoor. She said a big thing and I understood why she said it. It was to make me feel (good). I really appreciated her gesture.”

Diljit then also opened up about him obsessing over Kylie Jenner on social media, he’s also made a song that mentions Kylie and Kareena. When asked what his thoughts are about Kylie, he said, “She looks great, beautiful, and looks like a Punjaban (Punjabi woman). I don’t know why and how but I felt she is Punjabi.”

Addressing Kylie’s social media persona, Diljit said, “Whatever it is, people can hate her for whatever, but she’s made a life of her own. Look at her net worth. She worked towards what she desired out of her life. She has a standing, she’s launched her own product which itself has a great net worth. Looking at her face, I felt she is Punjabi.”

Diljit, on the work front, is earning a loot of praise for his role in Crew along with Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. His upcoming film Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra will stream on Netflix from April 10.
