In Shark Tank India 3 news: In a recent episode focused on environmental sustainability, ecopreneur Prachi Shevgaonkar presented Cool The Globe, an app that helps people reduce their carbon footprint, which was not well received by Inshorts CEO Azhar Iqubal who noted that the data that will be voluntarily added here could be manipulated. According to Prachi, the app, available on both the Play Store and App Store, offers over 100 ways to be eco-friendly in daily lives and measures impact in terms of carbon emission reduction. In the end, Prachi secured a deal of Rs 25 lakh for 8 per cent equity, valuing the firm at Rs 3.13 crore.

 

The three founders of an ‘affordable luxury’ brassware brand named P-TAL made an impressive pitch on a recent episode of Shark Tank India, exciting the entire panel of sharks, which included Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar and Amit Jain. The three founders asked for Rs 50 lakh in exchange for 1% equity, valuing their company at Rs 50 crore. The founders said that they want to help the public re-adopt traditional methods, after watching how people have learned to value Ayurveda and yoga. The founders later secured a deal worth Rs 1 crore, for 3.2% equity, with a lower valuation than they’d wanted, but double the money they’d originally asked for.

 

In more Shark Tank India 3 news, the mother-daughter entrepreneur duo Lavanya Aneja and Kriti Anjea pitched their company, Lea Clothing Co, as a brand that “celebrates women of all shapes and sizes.” They said while European women go out of their way to highlight their curves, Indian women often go in the opposite direction as they try to hide the natural shape of their bodies. The pitchers asked the Sharks for Rs 1 crore for 2 per cent equity, with the valuation set at Rs 50 crore. In the end, the pitchers closed the deal with Rs 1 crore for 4 per cent equity and 2 per cent royalty until Rs 1.5 crore is recouped, onboarding four Sharks.

 

Next up: Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma celebrated his birthday with family, friends and the cast of his recently released show The Great Indian Kapil Show on Tuesday, 2nd April. In the party, his friend, actor Sunil Grover was also seen singing “Happy birthday” song for him. In a video posted by singer Guru Randhawa, Kapil is seen cutting a Netflix-themed cake, and he feeds the first bite to wife Ginni Chatrath. He wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday paji @kapilsharma @gurjot_bu @marcrandhawa.” The first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show had actor Ranbir Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and their mother Neetu Kapoor as guests.

 

After the premiere episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor, comedian Kapil Sharma has unveiled a sneak peek into the upcoming second episode. The spotlight this time falls on cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, who promise to infuse the show with their playful banter and unheard anecdotes. The promotional clip kicks off with Krushna Abhishek, as an air hostess, indulging in some light-hearted flirting with the two cricket stars. It further showcased the cricketers engaging in a game of cricket with Kapil and his team. Kapil dons the persona of former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, a nod to his previous shows, Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.

 

The first episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, which dropped on Saturday, 30th March had actor Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor as its guests. The episode was filled with comedy and surprises and also had comedian Kapil Sharma’s wife Ginni Chatrath in the audience. She opened up about how the comedian has changed after marriage and fatherhood. She said, "He behaves well in front of me but I am not sure once he leaves the house.” When Archana Puran Singh and Neetu asked Ginni what she thought of Kapil as a father, she said, “He is the best dad. He is very hands-on.”

 

Karan Kundrra found love in Tejasswi Prakash when they met on Bigg Boss 15. After the show, the couple has been going quite strong. However, both Prakash and Kundrra have not been spared from trolling and rumors about their love life. In an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com, Karan spoke about his relationship with Prakash, and how they deal with the scrutiny as a couple. During the interview, he said, “As a couple we have jobs, and some people don’t. It doesn’t affect me, because we are sitting together and people are saying we broke up, or she got married to someone else. Some people are just too free.”

 

Lastly: Actor Rupali Ganguly reached the peak of success with her show Anupamaa, in which she plays the titular role of a strong-willed Gujarati woman. In a recent interview with CNBC, the actor shared that her Gujarati accent on the hit show has been inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said, “Life is about observing people and imbibing things from them. For me, when I saw Anupamaa, I saw her not speaking English. I saw her speaking Hindi with a Gujarati accent. So, I wanted to do that. A lot of stuff I picked up from the honourable Prime Minister.” Rupali is also known for her part in the popular sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai as Monisha.
